Fearless Fest NYC – Be FEARLESS with Dr. Laura Miranda

I was truly HONORED to have been asked to lead an empowering workout session at the Women You Should Know #FearlessFestNYC this weekend!

Thousands of women came to mix and mingle and soak up the greatness that was happening all day long!! I am grateful to all of the incredibly powerful women that I got a chance to rub elbows with throughout my time at the event.

Here I am talking about uncovering your WHY and how REAL CHANGE is about way more than just push-ups and clean eating. Let’s face it, if were just about eating well and working out consistently, we would all be exactly where we want to be right now.

Maybe my favorite part of the talk was when I asked the group write down an obstacle in their life that is holding them back from greatness. I asked everyone to identify their personal obstacles whether they were negative/toxic people in their lives, tragic events from the past, or even self imposed limiting beliefs.


Acknowledging and identifying the “crap” is step one. Step two is to use these it as motivation to get from where you are, to where you want to be. You have a choice, let that stuff hold you back OR use it to grow to become the best possible version of yourself.

Then, after we talked about our feelings, we WORKED!

.The definition of “Fearless” is not the absence of having fear.   It’s not about being completely unafraid.

A Fearless person has a ton of fears, doubts, and adversity in life. Being fearless is about LIVING in spite of those things that scare you to death. It’s about being BRAVE enough to stare your “crap” directly in the face and use it to help you get to the next level.

The road to success is not one that is clear and easy. But people that achieve GREATNESS are the ones that have the courage to charge through all of the peaks and valleys as they arise.

Keep asking yourself this question: “How can I #BeFearless?
