Running Camp Program Description
This is a fun outdoor running program geared towards women of all ages and fitness abilities.
THE ULTIMATE GOAL of Strong Healthy Woman Running Camp is to be able to run an 8-minute mile with EASE (and have FUN and lose a ridiculous amount of weight!). It’s not about being a track star or an elite athlete. It’s about being the best YOU can be. It’s not about getting up at early in the a.m. to run with a group of women for an hour. It’s a whole lot more!
You will really learn how to run better and more efficiently. You will see how easy it is to drop weight fast. You will find yourself building relationships with other women who enjoy becoming fit and have the same interests and goals. The class is always different and always a lot of fun.
As a Strong Healthy Woman Running Camp Runner, you will gain confidence, endurance, speed, and find your legs (and body) leaner and stronger. You don’t have to be a great runner in order to begin. To qualify for the M-W-F Strong Healthy Woman Running Camp program, you must only be able to run one mile without having to stop to walk…even if your one mile is extremely s l o w.
Laura Miranda and her team coaches this women’s running camp in NYC & LI. She is a skilled Physical Therapist and Personal Trainer that will always take you above and beyond what you ever thought you could ever achieve.

The workouts vary each week, each day and each minute. You will NEVER be board and always be challenged to your own level. Fast runners and slow deconditioned runners alike achieve amazing results from this class, it is designed for all!
This program is about more than just changing your body and running ability; it is about changing your entire lifestyle — a healthy lifestyle!
You will feel rewarded by running a 5K in NYC or LI at your FASTEST speed with the group at the end of this camp. On graduation day you will also receive a great Strong Healthy Woman Running Camp T-shirt and an AMAZING BODY!
Strong Healthy Woman Running Camp Details:
- 3 Days a week (M,W,F) 6:30 -7:30 a.m. in NYC or 9:30 -10:30 in Oceanside, LI.
- Women only – All Ages Welcome!
- Focused Stretching Injury Prevention
- Increase your speed to an 8-minute mile (for some…even faster!)
- Rhythm Intervals, Drills, Obstacle Courses, FUN!!!

$480.00 for 6 weeks, 3 Days/week (that’s only about $26.00 a day!)
$368.00 for 6 weeks, 2 Days/week - Oceanside, Long Island
$430.00 for 6 weeks, 3 Days/week (that’s only about $23.00 a day!)
